“New Melodies exists to set the music free, for everybody, forever.”

Since the only way to have authentic freedom comes from creating harmonious justice for everyone, the New Melodies Community is born with the basic principle of eradicating music piracy, but we face the issue from a new perspective: instead of perpetuating unsuccessful efforts, we seek to create a sinergic plattform where musicians and audiences have a direct, transparent relationship. Equal opportunities must be given to everyone with the essential objective of reaching total freedom for music.

  In order for music to be truly free –in all senses-, artists need to receive the fair pay they deserve for filling our lives with new melodies. Also, people need an open window, rich with new musical possibilities, while satisfying their desire to obtain all these tunes without having to spend money. All this while supporting their favorite artists.

This is where the third element comes in, the one responsible for putting the whole thing in motion: our sponsors. In order for everyone to download their favorite songs without having to pay for them but keeping a fair remuneration for artists, our sponsors have the opportunity to communicate messages from their brands which are specifically interesting for each member of our Community. This is how the circle closes up and goes around.

Each time a new member joins our flight, a new pair of wings is added, bringing all of us closer and closer to the ultimate dream of setting the music free, for everybody, forever.

   In New Melodies, music claims the central position it has in our lives, and it becomes the axis around which our dreams, inspiration and freedom develop.

   As the New Melodies Community grows, our flight expands to new horizons, allowing us to build sound bridges between music created somewhere in this blue planet and the ears that crave for it halfway around the world. Our harmony connects musical notes that are never to be set apart again by geographical or cultural ramparts. New spaces open up building the acoustics, which reverberate all voices equally.

  How far each one goes is only defined by his or her own yearnings; but the whole sound is the same for everyone: we fly for free music, for free spirits. This sound is here to stay and it echoes all around.



In a word, it’s all about freedom. But in order for real freedom to exist, we also need justice, fraternity and passion.

• Freedom, because only a lack of hindrances allow us to grow, to really develop our full potential. Only when you are free can you believe in something and make it true, with no obstacles, no boundaries. Only in freedom can music be all it can be, and fly towards those who wish to listen to it.

• Justice, because merit and equity are fundamental for freedom to be practiced responsibly. Work and ideas are valuable, and acknowledging their value means we feed them so that they can continue to build great things. Likewise, equity means everyone gets open access to it.

• Fraternity, because we are able to behold the same horizon and fly together towards it. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, your music is made up of the same notes –even if the sounds and silences are unique, like you-, and your ears recognize this universal language. One of us can fly high above the skies and find new ways, but all of us, together, we can go further… much further.

• Passion, because in the words of the philosopher Hegel: “Nothing great in this world has been accomplished without great passion”, and setting the music free is no less than a wall tearing, groundbreaking ambition. This is the effort that allows us to dissolve the usual, change things “the way they have always been done”, and extend our wings full of faith in a shared goal. This is the energy and the strenght that breaks chains and sets us free.



Seeking freedom is an even more valuable voyage if we can stay ahead of tomorrow. This is why New Melodies commits to setting part of our daily work towards the development and protection of children around the world, particularly in zones of extreme poverty.

   New Melodies makes a consistent, direct donation through its Foundation in order to support the labor of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in that sense. This way, every single free song download from the plattform contributes to our mission for freedom, but also makes a difference towards changing the future of the new generations in need.
